Aniba Rosaeodora (Bois De Rose) Oil
Aniba Rosaeodora also known as Bois De Rose or Rosewood, is a tropical evergreen of the Laurel family Lauraceae and native to Brazil and Peru where it is sustainably harvested. The laws require essential oil distilleries to plant a new tree for every tree used for oil. It is extracted via steam distillation from the heartwood. There's a lot more to bois de rose oil than it's exquisitely enlivening aroma. It is also noted for antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal properties and can soothe dry and oily skin types alike. It's tissue-regenerating properties help to relieve dryness, improve elasticity and even reduce the onset of pimples in acne-prone skin. It is soothing for hives, rashes, burns and generally helpful for calming irritated and inflamed skin.
